About QM Appraisal
QM Appraisal is the
largest appraisal firm in the area capable of
performing a full range of appraisal services,
including residential, commercial and farm and ranch
appraisals. We have the expertise to appraise any
type of real estate property, owner Jake Fulkerson
adds.
Que Mangus started QM
Appraisal in 1985. Jake Fulkerson purchased the
company in 2005. QM Appraisal continues to grow and
expand with the needs of the community.
I
developed an extensive working background in
commercial real estate in the Reno, Las Vegas, and
Phoenix markets while employed by First Interstate
Bank, Wells Fargo Bank and Citigroup. With over 21
years in these dynamic markets, I was exposed to a
variety of commercial real estate projects. Seeking
a higher quality of life, my wife Marisa and I moved
our family to Cody, Wyoming. After 6 years in
banking in Cody, I chose to combine and expand my
experience in commercial real estate and purchased Q
M Appraisal from Que Mangus in July of 2005.
With an extensive database, excellent contacts in
the industry and the necessary expertise to produce
a quality report, QM Appraisal has evolved over 20
years into a professional, quality organization that
provides appraisals for Commercial,
Agricultural-Recreational, and Residential
properties.
The purpose of an appraisal may vary from
establishing the value for loan considerations to
estate planning, litigation, insurance and sales
transactions. Commercial appraisals are done for all
types projects. Our primary clientele are financial
lending institutions; however, we complete
appraisals for government agencies, airport boards,
school districts, attorneys, accountants, and
private individuals. On occasion, a commercial real
estate property will sell and a business valuation
is required. We offer this service. We have
completed appraisals on office/warehouse buildings
of all sizes; full service and limited service
franchise hotel/motels, smaller family-style motels,
and forest service lease guest lodges; multi-family
apartment buildings, mobile home parks, convenience
stores, gas stations, full-service restaurants,
fast-food restaurants, and main street retail
buildings are included on our list of projects.
We have developed an expertise in large and small
subdivision development projects. Residential
subdivisions, Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) and
Business Parks have been appraised “as is” and “as
developed”.
Our primary market area includes the Northern
Wyoming towns of Cody, Buffalo, Gillette, Powell,
Thermopolis, Sheridan, and Worland. We also cover
the smaller market areas of; Banner, Basin,
Burlington, Byron, Clark, Cowley, Dayton, Deaver,
Frannie, Garland, Greybull, Hyattville, Kaycee,
Lovell, Manderson, Meeteetse, Ralston, Ranchester,
Story, Ten Sleep and Wapiti. We have appraised
properties on a limited basis in southern Montana as
well.
Analyst Steve Webster
managed the great Webster Ranch for 10 years and
also has more than 10 years in the banking industry,
making him an important part of the team. Each of us has a
specialty and a background in a different area which
makes us stronger and more skilled as a group,
Webster says.
Office Manager, Kim Hardage, new to
the appraisal/real estate field brings plenty of eager enthusiasm to
the position. She is a Cody native recently relocating form New
Mexico back to her home stomping grounds. With 10 plus years of
experience in office management she is a welcome addition to our
staff.
Appraisals are needed
for many reasons by a variety of clients. They are
used to provide market value to financial
institutions, government agencies and private
individuals. The staff at QM Appraisal strives
to provide a quality product.
We plan to continue our relationship
with our current clients and look forward to including new clients
in the future, Jake says.
